| For a long time, how to reasonably reduce the cost, effectively control project cost, so that the limited funds can create more and greater efficiency, has always been worthy of concern by the majority of enterprises.GDHB Company is one of the earliest established environmental engineering companies, a professional company based on science and technology, focusing on the design and construction of the sewage treatment plant general contracting for core strength. The project cost plays its important role; it has a direct impact on the economic benefits of its future run. How to meet the technological function under the premise by not affecting the structure of security and reliability? The choice is to guarantee to do the job with less input, the larger social and economic benefits. To achieve that, we have to master the project cost management tools to effectively control the sewage treatment plant project cost within reasonable limits, and improve overall economic efficiency of the project. In this way, better goals of the whole enterprise can be fulfilled.The key to the project cost management is to control project cost through scientific methods and means. Using the project cost management theory as the guiding ideology, through the use of project management methods and means, this paper aims at solving common problems with other companies constructing sewage treatment plants. The investigation of the company and the construction site personnel collects some useful information.
