Copper-tin poly metallic ore processed in Tongjie Concentrator contains various sulphide minerals and its comprehensive utilization is difficult to achieve. According to its original beneficiation process, copper concentrate grade is lower than19%while purity arsenic content is above1.2%, exerting an adverse influence on Tongjie’s economic benefits.Process mineralogy study, laboratory tests, pilot tests and industrial tests were carried out to form a technology to promote copper grade and decrease arsenic content by mixing sulphide collector to strengthen the selective collection of copper and combining lime and CTP to inhibite arsenic minerals.Results of industrial tests show that novel copper collector OL Ⅱ-A has satisfying selectivity. Under new reagent regime, when only OL Ⅱ-A was used as collector, copper recovery can be kept above90%and copper concentrate grade be above25%; while under new mixed reagent regime, good selectivity of OL Ⅱ-A was expressed in roughing and cleaning and better collection effect was obtained in scavenging by using mixed sulphide collector, and thus copper concentrate grade of23%and copper recovery of92%were obtained.The combination of depressors includes lime and CTP applied with the collector OL Ⅱ-A has successfully removed most of the arsenic in copper concentrate. Under new reagent regime, the lowest arsenic content in concentrate was0.63%; under new mixed reagent regime, the lowest arsenic content in concentrate was0.53%, considerably improving concentrate quality.Results of technical and economic analysis show that when new reagent regime and new mixed reagent regime were adopted, output value of unit concentrate was dramatically increased due to the increase of copper grade and the decrease of arsenic content in concentrate. Copper only can create an extra output of7.67million yuan and9.11million yuan respectively each year, tremendously promoting the economic benefits of Tongjie Concentrator.
