The high arsenic content cassiterite copper sulphide ore in Kafang is a kind of copper-tin polymetallic intergrowth sulphide ore. Based on the common principle of minerals processing, flotation is mainly used to recover the copper sulphide minerals and gravity concentration is used to concentrate cassiterite. For copper-tin intergrowth sulphide ore, the traditional technology is that the sulphide minerals are preferentially recovered and then the cassiterite is concentrated from the tailings of flotation after the ore is grinded to the size that is suitable to flotation. However, cassiterite is fragile and easy to be over-grinded, so the recovery of the fine particle cassiterite is very difficult. The large particle size of grind is suitable to the recovery of cassiterite, but the flotation demands finer grinding size.The result of theoretical analysis shows that the ascending condition of bubbles schleppingmineral particles is When pulp and mineral density are definite, thecoarser the mineral particles are, the larger the diameter of bubbles needed is. Because the bigger bubbles are more mutable and fragile, the annexation among bubbles is increased and the bumping brought by annexation leads to mineral particles disengaging from mineralized bubbles and going into the pulp, the dosage of frother needs to properly increase in order to depress solution surface tension, prevent from annexation among bubbles, improve froth stability and mechanical intensity, and increase the probability of mineral particles adhering to bubbles.According to the adhering force between mineral particles and bubbles, the result of theoretical research shows that the condition of mineral particles adhering to bubblesfirmly is so we can know that the larger the particlesize is, the bigger the sinθ is under the same parameters such as pulp concentration and bubble diameter, etc. Namely, if the mineral particles need to be brought to the surface of pulp, higher surface hydrophobicity of minerals is necessary. Therefore, the dosage of collector is a little bit more for coarse-flotation.The result of theoretical research indicates the condition of depressing arsenicsin 6 g , ~ e. Nmineral is——< — ko^ —
