Heavy oil is of poor property, high pectin content, big viscosity, heavy sand-carrying, low efficiency and high power consumption in dehydration by using conventional equipment. It brings great difficulties to heavy oil gathering and transportation control. Higher request puts forward to the stability of the heavy oil gathering and transportation monitoring system especially when the sands contained rate increases and the fluid quantity is not stable in the late period of heavy oil development. The research on optimization and design of heavy oil gathering and transportation control system rely on the heavy oil Combined-station reconstruction project in the second production factory of Sinopec Henan Oilfield Branch. Analysis and research are made on the technological process and optimization measures of the joint stood gathering and transportation system to make suggestions for monitoring content and control requirements. Discuss the structure of the original monitoring system, the software and hardware realization. It point out the problems existing in the system and make optimized design of the monitoring system for these problems in order to enhance the reliability and stability of the system.The optimization of the control strategy:it firstly introduces the conventional PID controller and parameter setting principles. Then get the conclusion with the experimental method:in the swirling separation process, pressure level variable is of strong coupling, liquid level control process is so nonlinear that the conventional PID measure can not satisfy the control requirements of heavy oil gathering and transportation. Then introduce the fuzzy control theory, and analyze the structure of the fuzzy controller. The paper proposes the fuzzy adaptive PID control replace the conventional PID control. Finally establish the mathematical model, make conventional PID control and fuzzy adaptive PID control simulation contrast, so as to prove that fuzzy adaptive PID control strategy is more suitable for the stability of the four phase separator level control.
