Nowadays, the cement production and consumption of China have become the superpower of the world. However, the cement companies are still the biggest energy-consuming enterprises. Therefore, it’s of great significance for the high energy consumption enterprise to carry out power efficiency monitoring and evaluation activities, from which can discover the problems in the energy efficiency of the enterprise and point out the direction of energy saving. At the same time, it can also provide the important data support for the energy efficiency management department to evaluate energy saving achievement of enterprises.On the basis of the research on the management and evaluation of energy efficiency, firstly, the paper study the technological process of cement production, build a power efficiency monitoring platform for cement industry, collect and analysis the electricity information of the pilot users; then, according to the normative documents of our country, formulate a energy efficiency assessment system for the cement companies; finally, through the case studies of the pilot enterprises, analyze its load characteristics, introduce the analytic hierarchy to assess the energy efficiency, propose the specific energy-saving program and analyze its cost-benefit.In this paper, the monitoring platform, electric energy efficiency assessment system and assessment methods for the electricity energy efficiency, is not only suitable for the cement users, but also can be extended to the other high-energy-consuming enterprises, such as steel, coal, caustic soda and building industry, etc. So, the achievement of this paper will get a good prospect of application.
