The carbon molecular sieve is a new type of adsorbent,which has been widely used in various fields, such as gas separation in the chemical industry, sewage treatment in environmental protection, the militarization of military gas masks and other protection, due to the well-developed pore structure and surface characteristics.In this thesis.use phenolic resin and coal as raw materials, prepared for the carbon molecular sieve product that for the pressure swing adsorption concentrated low-density gas.investigated the effect of the main process conditions on the performance of carbon molecular sieve, and obtained the optimum conditions.The carbon molecular sieve were characterized by means of FT-IR. XRD, BET and SEM.and determined the static adsorption and tested the anti-static of the products.The main findings are as follows:(l)The best preparation conditions of the carbon molecular sieve which composed of phenolic resin was that the first carbonization temperature of750℃.the first carbonization time of90min, a heating rate of10℃/min. the activator concentration of50%. the carbon deposition time of120min and the carbon deposition temperature of700℃(2)The best preparation conditions of the carbon molecular sieve which composed of coal was that the carbonization time of70min, the carbonization temperature of800℃, the activator concentration of50%, the concentration of liquid carbon deposition of60%,the liquid carbon deposition time of90min and the temperature of liquid carbon deposition of800℃.(3)By the characterization of the carbon molecular sieve, we know that the microscopic structure of the carbon molecular sieve is the graphite layer structure consisting of amorphous carbon, there is a small amounts of oxygen functional groups (C-O、C=O、O-H) in the surface of the carbon molecular sieve, the basic shape of the surface pores of the carbon molecular sieve is narrowslit-like structure. The prepared carbon molecular sieve were mainly porous.The results of the determination of resistance and static adsorption capacity of the carbon molecular sieve showed that the preparation of carbon molecular sieve are static conductor.on the optimal condition.the static adsorption capacity of the carbon molecular sieve which composed of phenolic resin of CH4up to41.22ml/g and of N2is about7ml/g.The static adsorption capacity of the carbon molecular sieve which composed of coal of CH4up to39.45ml/g and of N2is about8ml/g.
