Pressure swing adsorption(PSA)as a proven method for the production of oxygen has been widely used in the small-scale industrial production because of its convenient use,rapid reaction,high efficience.The research and application of PAS are mainly focused on the plat environment.However,there is no enough research on PSA about its application in anoxia plateau environment In this study,we conduct experiments on the application of PSA in the plateau environment,moreover,to investigate the effect of adsorption time,pressure equalization time and oxygen flow rate on oxygen purity and recovery.According to the adsorbent character of three kinds of Li zeolite,we design the PSA process.Experiments are respectively conducted in plat environment and plateau environment.In the plain environment,we used zeolite to adsorb air by increasing pressure,and then desorb air in normal pressure for the separation of nitrogen.In the plateau environment,the adsorption of air is still the same,but the desorption of air is in vacuum.Eventually,oxygen was producted by each method.Based on the PSA process,the structural of the adsorption tower was calculated by theoretical arithmetic,and the height ratio of the adsorption tower were confirmed.The experimental data of adsorption time,pressure equalization time and oxygen flow rate were optimized by experimental study,and the optimal experimental conditions and regression models were obtained by using the Design Expert.The results of the experimental data in plat environment show that the performance of the three kinds of zeolites JLOX performed better than MDX and SXS,the result is consistent with the parameters of the three zeolite.Univariate analysis shows that the oxygen purity and recovery increase with adsorption time and pressure equalization time.With the oxygen flow increasing,the oxygen purity remain unchanged,then decrease and the recovery still increase.With the altitude increasing,the flow continues to decrease on condition that oxygen purity is unchanged,while the recovery increase.The optimal experimental conditions of JLOX zeolite in plain environment were obtained by response surface analysis:the adsorption time was 7.0 s,the pressure equalization time was 1.0 s,the flow rate was 6.31 L/min,the oxygen purity was 94.49%,and the recovery rate was 32.51%.The experiment data of 3.0 km by Response surface analysis shows the best experimental conditions of MDX zeolite:adsorption time of 8.0 s,pressure equalization time of 1.0 s,flow rate of 4.81 L/min,oxygen purity of 93.55%,recovery of 38.95%.The technology of PSA process was established based on PLC by using Li zeolite as the adsorbent.The process could effectively separate the nitrogen from air and prepare high purity oxygen thus,this process have wide application prospect in the plateau area.
