Research On Pollution Control In Rural Economy Development

With constant and rapid development of rural industry and the general acceleration in urbanization, the rural economy development in our country is speeding up while people’s life standard is seeing noticeable improvement. Under new historical context, towns have become an important embodiment of rural economy development and social progress, making the heart of economic and social development in certain areas. However, while urbanization is picking up speed and rural economy is undergoing rapid upturn, they bring many towns a severe problem as well---environment pollution. During the development, the amount of polluting emission is rising worryingly, which generates an obvious downturn in environment quality. Thus, the sustainable economic and social development in those areas is threatened. Under such a circumstance, the issue of pollution control in towns has inevitably been put on agenda. As a result, we have to research on the present situation in towns, pick out the useful information for environment pollution control and deduce the causes, so that we can explore for some concrete policies which are systematically Chinese.Our present dealing system against environment pollution doesn’t go well with the contemporary productivity level, economy development and people’s demand. This sort of defect reveals in fact the friction between natural resource and environment, which attributes to three main causes:the failure of market mechanism to fully meet people’s demand from resource and environment, the government’s feeble role in environment protection and the fact that the sense of environment protection has not yet become a standard for public morality law and behavior. So innovation in present environment protection system and further regulation in leading people’s eco-environment reaction are important means. To a certain degree, environment pollution has fallen into one of the important issues we should pay attention to in our economy development. So should the towns, which are witnessing rapid industrialization and urbanization. Environment pollution in those regions is growing more and more severe with the rapid development of modern economy. It leads to a series of sharp contradictions between environment system and social economy system. This thesis researches on environment problems in towns and the controlling system for environment protection. It will employ theories and tactics referring to public management, resource and environment science, and economics. The research target is environment pollution in rural economy development while reality of Yan Kou Town of Lengshuijiang in Hunan Province will be treated as the case. All of those environment controlling methods and modes will of immeasurable theoretical and practical sense in dealing with environment pollution and eco-damage in those towns.
