Sublevel caving method is characteristic by simple stope structure, high production andsafety, which is used widely in domestic, so does Jinshandian iron mine.With this method, goafis not dilled with filling materials. Instead, it is filled with caved surrounding rocks after mining.So it will inevitably cause a large area of surface to collapse, and do serious harm to thesurrounding environment and constructions. In order to improve the situation and deal withwaste rock piled up in surface which is produced in mining process, backfilling is decisivelycarried out to aim at surface subsidence. However, affected by underground mining, the backfillis in dynamic changing in collapse area. As a result, it’s necessary to study the variation ofbackfill to determine a safe and efficient backfilling plan and trucks-dived routes.This paper is mainly focus on how to solve Jinshandian iron mine in safety andhigh-efficient backfilling problem. Based on the lab experiment and numerical simulation,research is done on surface subsidence movement rules, in order to set up reasonable add-backprocess and safety measures to ensure the backfilling normally. It is time to solve the problemand complete the work as follows:First of all, the similarity principle is used to build physical mechanics model about thepractical geological condition in the lab. In the experiment, according to the structure parametersto excavate the ore mine, watching the experiment phenomenon and recording relevant data,comprehensive analysis proceeds. Secondly, software of UDEC is used to build numericalanalysis model, the relevant parameters and boundary constraint are inputted, to excavate themodel and simulate the change rule of surface backfill body after each section of the ore body isexcavated. At the same time, observation record lines are set at different points to record theresearch results of displacement and stress changes on the model. At last, based on the laboratorytest and compare the numerical simulation results, reciprocally authenticated and decide to setthree region on backfill surface subsidence domain to settle the problem of high-efficient andsafety backfilling.
