In this paper, Degumming, degreasing, and decoloring in refining process of ricebran wax were studied deeply. The application of refined rice bran wax in keepingcitrus fresh was studied.By analyzing the single factors of degumming experiments, in three methods, degumming effects of DG-adsorbent was optimal, distinctions between10%citric acidand20%phosphonate solution was unobvious, hydration degumming effects wasworst. The optimal deguming conditions by DG–adsorbent were as follows: time70min, temperature80℃, dosage9%, phospolipid content of rice bran wax pastedeclined from3.61%to0.16%in this conditions.Orthogonal experiment optimization the deguming conditions of DG-adsorbent,the optimum conditions were as follows: time80min, temperature80℃, DG-adsorbent dosage1.75times and phospolipid content in rice bran wax paste declinedfrom8.91%to0.61%.By analyzing the single factors of degreasing experiments, degreasing effects ofisopropanol and acetone were optimal, degreasing effects of ethanol solvent was worst.Optimum conditions of degreasing by acetone were as follows: time50min,temperature50℃, ratio of material to liquid1:5, the purity of defatted rice bran waxwas88.4%and yield was95.6%in this condition; optimum conditions of degreasingby isopropanol were as follows: time50min, temperature50℃, ratio of material toliquid1:5, the purity of defatted rice bran wax was86.3%and yield was90.1%.Degreasing by isopropanol, optimum conditions of degreasing by responsesurface analysis were as follows: time50min, temperature53℃, ratio of material toliquid1:4.7, the purity of defatted rice bran wax was85.03%and yield was91.37%.Extracted second times under the optimum conditions obtained from response surface, the purity of defatted rice bran wax was98.7%and yield was84.4%.By analyzing the discoloring experiment of rice bran wax, optimum conditions ofdiscoloring by hydrogen peroxide were as follows: time60min, temperature85℃,dosage30%, LaBai degrees was18.3°under the condition; optimum conditions of discoloring by white earth&active carbon dosage were as follows: time60min,temperature115℃, dosage25%, LaBai degrees was19.1°under the condition;optimum conditions of discoloring by sodium borohydride were as follows: time60min, temperature80℃, dosage10%, LaBai degrees was38.4°under the condition;Discoloring by sodium borohydride, regarding LaBai degrees of rice bran wax as theresponse value, optimum conditions of discoloring by response surface analysis wereas follows: time67min, temperature80℃, dosage8.7%, LaBai degrees was39.6°under the condition.Covering citrus with a film of rice bran wax, by studying the good fruit rate, weightlessness rate, titration acid value and total soluble solids content of citrus instorage process, we concluded that it can delay and reduce violations by pathogenicmicroorganism, effectively reduce quality loss caused by the microbial infraction in thestorage process, delay and reduce water loss and citrus body breathing, slowing themature period and extend storage time of citrus.
