Geological Regularity Of Gas And Prevention Measures Of Liwangmiao Coal Mine In Baisha Mining Area,Chenlei Coalfield, Hunan Province

Liwangmiao mine is one of the most serious coal-and-gas outburst mines in Hunan Province, which lies in the southern of west wing of Baisha Syncline. The coal bed was buried relatively deep with a large amount of gas discharge so that occurrence coal-and-gas outburst is one of the outstanding problems of mine safety production.In this paper,6#bed coal in Liwangmiao mine of Baisha mining area is taken as research target. This paper uses gas-geology theory and combines the geological formation characteristics in the mining area and well field to analyze the control function of geologic evolution and structure to gasses; and discusses the mining gas geological laws on basis of analysis of geological factors affecting gas occurrence. It uses different-source forecast method and parametric measurement calculation to predict discharge amount of gas and hazardous areas. Basing on the foregoing gas geology research, this paper puts forward some protective measures on Liwangmiao mine coal-and-gas outburst as follows:1) mine gas ventilation measures:adopts the central sub-column ventilation system, and ventilation style is mechanical drawout.2) mine gas drainage measures:this paper proposes some drainage measures, such as ground pre-pumping, crossing-layer drilling pre-pumping and bedding drilling pre-pumping and so on.3) Security measures on coal and gas outburst: This paper discusses the prevention measures from local and regional aspects respectively. On the aspect of local outburst prevention, mainly from three aspects, such as mining face prevention outburst, cross cut for opening coal face prevention outburst as well as day-to-day security measures. On the aspect of regional outburst prevention, this paper proposes measures of gas pre-pumping of large area coal bed, which has been proven by production to effectively prevent and control outburst of coal and gas.In summary, this paper systematically analyzes the geological conditions of Liwangmiao mine, and puts forward a few prevention measures, which provides theoretical basis for the abatement of coal gas, chart a path for prevention and control of gas accidents.
