As the oil and gas pipeline transport high reliability and low cost, and China’s energy demand is growing and the rapid development of the oil industry, oil and gas pipelines, the mileage also increasing its security and integrity problem is increasingly concerned.This article from gas transmission pipeline integrity management perspective, in the thorough study of domestic and foreign oil and gas management corrosion defects detection and residual strength evaluation method based on oil and gas transmission pipeline, according to the characteristic and pipeline corrosion factors and mechanism, using the method of grading and evaluating of uniform corrosion, local corrosion, pitting corrosion pipeline were classified assessment, and uniform corrosion for actual evaluation calculation and finite element numerical calculation method theory, using ANSYS finite element simulation software giant general-purpose, through the simulation to the pipeline corrosion defects, assuming that the internal pressure pipe by only load cases, the stress distribution analysis of corrosion.
