The piston is the important parts of a car engine,it directly determines thequality of the performance of the engine.In order to improve the performance of thepiston itself,continuous improvement of the surface skirt design, now widely usedin Middle-convex and varying ellipse is recognized a good piston skirtsurface.Called the convex variable oval piston skirt cross-section is oval inlongitudinal section over the axis of a shape asymmetry in the convex change thedrum,and the piston transverse cross-section ovality is the change in the axialdirection. Middle-convex and varying ellipse piston as theresearch object,changethe oval on the convex piston turning to in-depth research.The main content is asfollows:1. The piston elliptical cross section of the interpolation algorithm change inany of the oval piston convex cross section for elliptic, elliptical cross section andthe ellipse is changing. This paper use direct function interpolation method of thepiston elliptical cross section profile for interpolation, study the interpolation ofrecursive formula, improve the interpolation algorithm computation speed andmachine tool processing speed increased, and improve the production efficiency.
