Explosion protection door and cover were to be opened in previous reports aboutcoal mine especially major gas and dust explosion, had serious consequences of theaccident, huge number of victims. When explosion wave burst through the door, willleading to short circuit between the underground ventilation system and the main fan,causing no wind in the underground well, smoke flowing disorders, rising gas density,declining oxygen concentration, expanding the disaster area, and even lead to secondexplosion and other dangers. It’s necessary to maintain the proper ventilation of theunderground after the explosion, in order to preserve effective ventilation to maintainthe underground survivors living environment, encouraged by the will to live, guidelinesescape direction. An auto-sealing device is to be designed here, it can sealing the coalmine ventilation shaft instead of explosion protection door and cover automatic andtimely, which can reduce the severity of the accident, the number of victims. Throughanalysis and design in the principle and the structure of the device, the articlecompleted the research and development of the whole ontology with the function ofautomatic sealing.This auto-sealing device is an innovation in mine explosion-proof door block offautomatically, inspired from the works in the automotive airbag, have a new conceptof blocking. Touching sensor is placed in the bottom of the explosion-proof doors,induct of blocking state. When the anomalous signal is passed to the control system,the plugging power equipment is to be started, aerating main blocking part to blockoff the well’s mouth. The pressure sensor controls the state of the main blocking partwhere it installed in, and maintains the whole block sealing work process. Designedthe basic part of the main structure, include the main blocking part, support structure,power equipment, sensing devices, control systems and the installation chamber.In terms of the main functional part of the sealing device, used the soft inflatableairbag structure as the new sealing body; according to the principle of bionics and inflatable column equipment, design a pancake inflatable airbag with dynamic columnstructure and the special position of the layout, could extent speedily, with rigidstructure can withstand the high stress, has good sealing effect; choose a fast andreliable physical inflatable power equipment; rely on the pressure limiting device tobalance inflating pressure in airbag; select the polyamide66filament as raw materialwith silicone-coated fabric as the basic material of airbags, and having the antiseptic,mould proof, lubrication and isolation processing.Based on mine gas and coal dust explosion shock wave generated at the roadwaypropagation attenuation regularity analysis, calculate the maximum dynamic pressureand impact energy will action on the supporting body which is installed in theventilation well, provide supporting force for the main blocking part extension andexpansion sealing. According to the safety redundant allowance calculation, weresearched of the support body material, root face body, assembly splice form, theoverall shape structure; designed the circuit control system which includeexplosion-proof door touching sensors, pressure sensor, circuit of air powerequipment and total control switch; through layout each subsystem reasonability inthe installation chamber, the equipment achieved reliable and effective working effectfinally.At the last, we made the experiment model and sealing device prototype, through themodulation by simulation and the data feedback, the device has its final l shape of theairbag layout and the corresponding folding way, can sealing the ventilation shafteffectively through the experiment. With the result that the article completing thedesign and development of the entire device.
