As a brand new combustion way, regenerative combustion has great difference fromtraditional combustion, it can greatly recovery the waste heat of the flue gas, and achievethe purpose of managing the sources of energy. It can also preheat the combustion air to ahigh temperature, which will be beneficial to the ignition and combustion of the fuel, thiswill make the use of low calorific value gas becomes possible and expand the applicationrange of fuel, the temperature distribution in the furnace will also becomes more evenly. Ifuse the method such as fuel burning classification to create low oxygen burningenvironment on the basis of traditional regenerative combustion, then NOXemissions willalso be reduced greatly, it can realize double effect: the energy saving and the emissionreduction.This paper introduces some of the basic theory of the regenerative combustion, andthrough the method of experiment, the distribution of the temperature in the furnace and theheat storage room under the regenerative combustion will be researched, also theregenerative combustion technology will be applied to the energy saving transformation ofthe ceramic kiln, because of the high demand during the production of the ceramics, it hasstrict heating curves and furnace atmosphere requirements, so the application of theregenerative combustion in ceramic kiln is a breakthrough. Specifically, the content of thispaper mainly studies as the follows:(1) The basic principle态characteristics of the traditional regenerative combustion andthe high temperature and low oxygen burning is introduced, the flame, NOXcharacteristicsand the distribution of the temperature in the furnace under the environment of hightemperature and low oxygen is also included.(2)Build experiment device, including equipment installation and commissioning,when everything is ready, heat the furnace, study the temperature curve in the heat-storingroom and the NOXemissions situation; Change of commutation time of the directionalcontrol valve, collect the temperature data in the heat-storing room, including the twoprocess of the regenerator heat and heat release of the temperature changes, then analysis the date.(3)Apply the regenerative combustion technology in the energy saving transformationof the ceramic kiln of the Huaxin porcelain insulator&Electric Apparatus Co., LTD, andanalysis the fuel consumption after the modification of the kiln.
