The3D braided composites is a new type of composite materials. Although it appears late and the development time is not long, it has occupied an important position in various fields of national economy, in particular, in the field of aerospace. The traditional two-dimensional material easily layered when forced, seriously affecting its material properties. The3D braided composites is non-hierarchical, so it has high specific modulus and specific strength, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, good fatigue resistance, etc. At present, the most commonly used3D braided method is four-step and two-step, and the four-step is the most studied braided method. In this paper, take the square cross-section and circular cross-section of four-step3D braided composites as an example, study the law of motion, establish static grid model and static entity model, and carry on dynamic simulation.In this paper, using Matlab’s powerful data processing capability, we can process data, establish geometry model and achieve motion simulation for3D braided composites, which are of great significance for understanding3D braided techniques, establishing the micro model and the mechanical analysis.In this paper, a detailed analysis of four-step method of3D braided composites is presented and we summarize four-step braided law of motion. Using the method of grid matrix coordinates, the algorithm of four-step braid movement is designed and achieved by Matlab and the static grid model is established. Based on Cubic B-Spline Curve, Cubic B-Spline Curve Fitting algorithm is designed and achieved. Use the algorithm to fit the space coordinates of the yarn and get the fitted coordinates. At the same time, the algorithm of static model of yarn entity is designed and achieved. According to the fitted coordinates, we can get the yarn space grid coordinates and establish static model of yarn entity.By using the fitted coordinates of the yarn, the yarn space grid coordinates and the knowledge of animation production of Matlab, we can realize the dynamic display of the yarn track and the dynamic display of the entity generation process. At last, make a GUI and compile the GUI into a program which can run independently out of Matlab circumstance.
