HTAC as a clean and efficient combustion technology, which meets the development and needs of the times, has been widely used in steel industry in china. But in practical applications most of regenerative reheating furnace there are some problems flaming, frequent fluctuations in furnace pressure high and worsened operating conditions, damaged the heating equipment too quickly, wasting energy. To effectively solve the problems with regenerative furnace, the thesis propose a technology of regenerative and recuperative model furnace and CFD techniques were used on the fuel gas and blast furnace gas mixture of two model furnace gas flow pattern with the numerical simulation. On the one hand to solve the regenerative furnace problems furnace pressure high and improved operating conditions, extend furnace service life; On the other hand saves energy. The paper work for the transformation of regenerative furnace design provides a theoretical basis and lead the regenerative furnace in our application and development a direction.(1)Paper established a regenerative reheating furnace gas along the width direction of the flow model in a closed state to analyze the impact of regenerative reheating furnace pressure. The underlying causes of the furnace pressure high is the water equivalence ratio greater than1, which making access to regenerator fluid quality imbalance.(2)Paper presents a regenerative and recuperative reheating furnace to solve the existing problems. Furnace used mixed gas only regenerate air, conventional oven set at the end of the flue, through the flue gas heat exchanger preheat gas, most of the gas (65%)into the regenerator, the remaining gas (about35%) preheat gas. With used blast furnace gas furnace preheat air and gas, and set oven at the head and end of the furnace, a portion (about10%) smoke emission directly baked outside.(3)Using the calculated CFD software FLUENT, paper established a three-dimensional furnace geometry model which used mixed gas and blast furnace gas, choose k-s turbulence model, nonadiabatic PDF combustion model and the model DO. Got two furnace flue open or closed, different orientation and different production to the furnace that the velocity field, pressure distribution, and analyzed them. The results showed that:the furnace not only combined with both heat exchanger furnace and the regenerate controling furnace pressure flexible features, but also with the limits of regenerative furnace recovery waste heat features. Furnace has a along the direction of length flow makes the whole extent of field turbulence makes furnace temperature is more uniform, the pressure in the furnace was reduced to+10Pa about the pressure gradient becomes smaller and the pressure distribution of the whole more uniform. It shows that the technology can solve the current widespread high pressure problems of the regenerative reheating furnace.
