Hydraulic press is a type of machine tools that realize less, non-cutting processing, also heavy pressure processing equipment for forging. Design and manufacturing level of hydraulic press is an important manifestation of the overall strength of a country’s equipment manufacturing industry. There are many problems in press structure designed by traditional method, such as redundancy, high cost and lack of superiority etc; while unloading or loss of load hydraulic press cause the tendency of flopping, destroy the infrastructure, and the vibration of the rack will cause precision down, which reduce product quality. As hydraulic press needs to meet many technical requirements, combining structural analysis with modern design and analysis methods to optimize and improve its structure performance is of great significance.Firstly, based on the theory of material mechanics, the issue main parts of body structure and major components of YD32-63hydraulic press is analyzed, and make the calculations of strength and stiffness.Secondly, Solidworks and ANSYS Workbench are used for collaborative design and analysis, then get relevant results of structural strength and stiffness under the conditions of central and partial load. The result shows that the rack is in a safe state, its strength and stiffness can meet the design requirements; the results also provide a reference for structural optimization.Once again, to optimize the components. ANSYS Workbench is used as the analysis tool, main components are built with parameters and are optimized; to find out the optimal solution from the initial program, analyze the improvement of selected program respectively. Compared with the original program, components is more lighter, stress state and stiffness were significantly improved; with meeting the requirements, structural strength and stiffness is qualified, and material is saved. Finally, to study the dynamic performance of hydraulic press, on the one hand, structural modal analysis is accomplished based on the platform of finite element technology and ANSYS Workbench, obtain natural frequency and corresponding mode shapes, it provides reference to research on the rack vibration and noise pollution; on the other hand, based on the theory of virtual prototype and ADAMS simulation platform, a simulation analysis of structural vibration induced by loss of load is fulfilled, obtain the main factors of vibration, and put forward corresponding vibration isolation measure.
