Elastoforming press,also called rubber pad forming press,used in aerospace,aviation,medical treatment and other small batch manufacturing of the specimens to reduce die cost and improve manufacturing flexibility.The frame structure of high-tonnage elastoforming press consists of multiple heavy hot-rolled steel plates.It is solid construction,without welded or mechanical joints,and therefore is safe and compact.A 10-MN elastoforming press is chosen to investigate the structural characters and mechanical performance of the frame structure that is not pre-stressed.According to the basic design principle and main technical parameters of hydraulic press,two kinds of structure forms are designed for the installation of frame.Use ANSYS Workbench to establish finite element analysis model of hydraulic press,two kinds of structure model for the static analysis to obtain the stress and strain distribution of cloud,under the central load condition and the eccentric load conditions,respectively.Comparative static analysis,conditions ? for the press is the worst situation at work,the maximum deformation and maximum stress of model one are less than model two,but it's opposite for the central load condition.The model analyses are conducted for two kinds of structure to gain their first six order natural frequency and the corresponding vibration mode.Comparing the modal analysis,model one and model two have similar modal vibration mode,but the natural frequency and amplitude is obvious different.Establish three degree of freedom damped mechanical model of hydraulic press,the energy method is applied to the vibration analysis of elastoforming press.Adopt the method of response surface optimization analysis to size optimization of two kinds of structure model,the minimum weight of hydraulic press and the maximum of the first order natural frequency as the design goal was the first case,and the minimum weight of hydraulic press as the design goal was the second case.Use the 2D curve to analyze the effect of design variables in each state parameter.
