The glass is one of the most widely applied materials in national economic sectors. More and more users put forward higher request to the quality of the glass with development of the auto industry, construction, electrical appliances industry and high-precision instrument industry. High-precision control of raw materials in glass production is one of the key techniques for improving glass quality, and has become a hot topic which scholars study on.The production process of glass batching has been analysed in this paper, and control request in glass batching is described. According to communication principle and technical features of DeviceNet Fieldbus, glass batching control system is designed based on DeviceNet,which present hardware and software design processes and concrete implementation method. From the engineering point of view, the accuracy of the control system is not high by using the traditional PID control or fuzzy control, so this paper derive weighing system models of materials combining with mechanical structure in control system of glass batching weighing. A self-adapting fuzzy control algorithm is designed, that reach control request to adjust PID parameters dynamically on-line.This algorithm has advantages of low complexity and easy realization. Simulation results demonstrated that the control algorithm is effective.The application result indicates that this control strategy has excellent characteristics in terms of low failure rate and higher communication efficiency. The cost is cut down because of its simple structure. The glass batching control system design meet the requirement of producing.
