Currently, walking-beam-type reheating furnace is widely used in hot reduction of board,bars and wire stock.It transports hot or cold billet steel step by step in furnace and heat it. The furnace is the first processes in hot strip mill, and walking beam is a top priority in furnace production equipments. In a continuous fast-paced production, walking beam running normal or not, is directly related to the furnace capacity and the capacity of hot strip mill.Large walking beam furnace is generally drived by hydraulic pressure, some use a combination of electric and hydraulic control. For hydraulic control systems, control systems can be divided into pump control and valve control system. Furnace No.l-3,2050hot mill at baosteel use pump control system. Pump control system is more complex, so it is difficult to quickly find a fault point of failure. In addition, pump speed control system is the volume mode, but because of its hydraulic pump output flow equals to the flow of load components that makes the speed of the walking beam sensitivity to flow changes, this for two-stage frame walking-beam of2050furnace, to keep the consistency of the frame, seems to be rather difficult.In this paper, the issues raised above,take the No.3furnace hot strip mill Baosteel2050reconstruction project as the background, walking-beam furnace of the No.3hydraulic control system for in-depth research, and for some practical problems one by one has been improved and solution. By the most high-speed, acceleration, run-cycle and other elements of comprehensive calculation and analysis, the original main pump hydraulic system operating mode to the was changed by6+1into4+1mode, the entire hydraulic system, energy-saving rate reached33.33%, while it stops two main pumps, it solve the problem that the spare part is stop-production at the same time; In addition, the use of traditional master-slave control principle, design a suitable proportion of long-range multiple synchronous hydraulic pump control strategy, both good framework to solve the two lift out of sync, but also to avoid the generation of the system oscillation. Finally, for the hydraulic system complexity, failure points, after a failure is difficult to find the point of failure issues, research and design of hydraulic line failure diagnosis system, a modular data processing, allowing the system to determine the fault more quickly, accurately and efficiently.This paper presents the main hydraulic pump model to improve the method of calculation, synchronization control and hydraulic fault diagnosis method, for the No.3furnace with the same, though after the transformation, but the hydraulic system of the old Lee1,2furnace has application value.
