Through to determinate soil physical and nutrient on the coal gangue in Luanmining, and have a test of matrix improvement in indoor, supply water and fertilizate tovegetation on land reclamation area, and experiment to introducing Jerusalem artichokeon the reclamation area.The results are as follows:Physical properties of coal gangue soil is difference, and available nutrient isdeficiency, so that the key factors which will limit ecological reconstrution of ganguehill are drought, water shortage and fertilizer shortage. Revolving the prevention ofplant recession in present land reclamation area and focus on experimental study of theearly the reclamation on the reasonable management of vegetation and pests, it hasshown that in early regeneration, moderate water has a great effect on plants, andartificial enrichment has little effect on conifer. Increasing water in early regeneration isthe key measure in preventing plant recession. Matrix D (70%of weathered gangue+10%loess+20%organic fertilizer) and matrix E (70%of weathered gangue+15%loess+15%organic fertilizer) can better improve soil physical properties and nutrientstatus, while the growth promoting effect is more obvious on plant. Root system haseffect on soil conservation, under the conditions of the same runoff scouring intensityand the same flushing time, sloping face rich in surface roots has obvious effect on theenhancement of soil erosion properties.; with the increasing of rainfall, soil erosionproperties of slope soil will get stonger. Introducing Jerusalem artichoke for the firsttime for bare land reclamation in Lu An mining area and have achieved practical results.Through studying on the rules of Jerusalem artichoke growth and biomass accumulationsystematacially, Jerusalem artichoke is not only a new material for abandoned miningarea, but also is a potential industrial plant.
