With the integration of a large area of China’s coal enterprises, small coal mines gradually withdraw from the stage of history. Old room and pillar mining method to mine the coal leaving a large gob, making very complex geological environment, mainly through field exploration, laboratory tests, simulations and other research tools for small gob area studied. In this paper, combined with the Pan Jia Yao Coal three main roadway for the study, analysis of both sides of the small gob area roadway.I participate in the actual field gob roadway affect mechanical properties of rock samples collected parameters, master Pan caijiayao4#coal seam geological conditions, such as depth, geological structure; collect roadway construction-related parameters such as the length of the roadway, section size and support methods; understanding Face production since roadway deformation and damage, and conduct face rock, coal field sampling, in order to support parameter calculation and provide a basis for numerical simulation analysis.By numerical simulation experiments on small gob roadway near simulation calculations.
