With the rapid growth of steel production and the development of smelting technology in China, the steel variety, quality, and performance has been greatly improved. The field of construction steel has also been an unprecedented development, a large number of steel building springing up in front of people.So many steel buildings improve our living space,but at the same time, their health (internal force, injury, changes in material properties, etc.) should not be overlooked, it relates to our lives and property. Therefore, the steel structure of the testing work is particularly important.Traditional steel structura detection technology is mainly based on the local strain deformation testing. According to its constitutive structural elements to determine the internal force or stress, we need to clear the loading process of structural members, which for most of the deformation of existing structures has been completed, materials performance change of circumstances, to detect the actual stress state is very difficult and sometimes impossible. From the current research and application, the existing structure nondestructive testing applications in the actual project still have many problems, some methods are still not perfect, These will limit the non-destructive structural health detection and diagnosis, therefore, we need to find a test method which is simple, accurate, and able to analysis of steel structures based on reliability and life assessment.This paper which discusses the electromagnetic testing method is a use of the relationship between EMF and stress. It bases on electromagnetic and mechanical theory to study the magnetic steel and power relations, and its purpose is not dependent on the initial deformation of the structure to extract Stress. In previous studies, it has been measured the relationship between a number of steel structures and the induced electromotive force in the laboratory. This study was based on previous, further miniaturization of the sensor, and its performance parameters and working principle, in order to increase the sensor’s mobile testing. In addition, the paper studies the strain and the induced voltage variation with angle in the relationship between strain and induced electromotive force by adding magnetic field on the basis of the impact of rotation, and further forward to the practical aspects.In this study, we use distribution of beam to load the H beam steel, and the measuring points is in the span section of the flange and webs. It compose of strain measurement system and electromagnetic testing system in order to synchronous data acquisition. The load range was controlled in flexible working stage. The measured magnetic field lines in each strain and induced electromotive force and electromotive force will be launched by the angle in the curve, analysis of tension, compression zone and the neutral axis of web measurement points of the curve property characteristics, summarized its regularity.
