Numerical control vertical lathe is mainly used for machining the large and heavy workpieces which have features of large diameter and Short length and the workpieces which are difficulty to jacket clip in horizontal lathes. Combined with the actual project about the design of hydraulic system of the Ningbo Haitian Co., LTD V138numerical control vertical lathe, this paper design the hydraulic transmission system which the host need and make the selection among the important components. And focusing on the problems of the low efficient driving and existing big impact in application of hydraulic drive system, making full use of the achievements in modern electrohydraulic proportional technology, this paper apply electro-hydraulic proportional direction valve to control top oil cylinder’s output speed, and apply pressure control top oil cylinder’s final position, not only gaining the best reduced the top and the contact of impact, but also improving the top oil cylinder’s transmission efficiency and automation rate.According to the characteristics of the valve control hydraulic cylinder, using the method of transfer function in the mouth plus or minus two direction are built on top of the control system of hydraulic oil cylinder mathematical model, this model not only can accurately reflect the dynamic characteristics of the system, but also can provide the theoretical basis for gaining accurate parameters of the system. To further improve and perfect the system of system, the transfer function of the performance must be analysis. Use of the traditional respectively MATLAB/Simulink software and hydraulic simulation special software DSHplus and above the combined system simulation, simulation results show get the curve reflecting the dynamic property of the system, and analyzes the curve simulation results.Based on the problem of system is unstable in the system simulation results, introducing the PID controller, this paper discuss the traditional method applied setting PID parameters and the PID parameters setting method based on amplitude margin and phase margin relay feedback algorithm.The two parameters setting methods can meet the application requirements, in contrast, relay feedback algorithm, the setting of the PID controller control effect is better.
