Development of warp knitting jacquard, EL shogging and pattern bar assembletechnology has provided platform for research on double-needle-bar multi-guide-bar andjacquard machines, which include the machine styles such as HDR28, HDR36, HDR44SU,RDJ2/2(EL), RDJ4/2(EL), RDJ6/2(EL). Fabrics, which made by this series machines,have seamless comfortable performance and delicate patterns, consequently, they drawwidespread concerns. At present, a series of costumes, such as pantyhose, coveralls, gloves,caps, functional sportswear, casual wears, evening dress, have been developed.With the innovation of double-needle-bar multi-guide-bar and jacquard machines,more new seamless processes are required to develop. Basis on synthesizing ordinaryjacquard seamless process, RSJ5/1thinnest jacquard process, seamless tubular process andmulti-bar shogging process, the paper put forward three new processes, which can produceordinary thinnest jacquard seamless fabric, special thinnest jacquard seamless fabric, andmuti-bar seamless fabric. By analysing seamless shaping and jacquard theory of three newprocesses deeply, we obtain the jacquard displacement information, jacquard snaggingrevise rule, and multi-bar seamless technology design rule. On the base of pre-studies,auxiliary design function has been realized in WKCAD4.2.Through literature reference, market research, fabric analysis, knitting practice onmachines, paper proposes double-needle-bar multi-guide-bar and jacquard fabrics’ theorydesign system, and discusses its innovative design model from the following four aspects:models design, pattern design, functional design, process design.On the base of summarizing double-needle-bar multi-guide-bar and jacquard fabrics’characteristics and combining with the trend of market, the paper has successfullydeveloped ordinary thinnest jacquard seamless fabric, special thinnest jacquard seamlessfabric and muti-bar seamless fabric, which are designed by software WKCAD4.2. Inaddition, the paper also points out the existing problems and precautions for each type offabric. All the researches provide a reference for seamless enterprise carry out thedevelopment and design.Development of warp knitting technology provides more possbilities for processdesign of seamless fabrics. In depth analysis of new process theory, the paper put forward aviable design theory system. For full use of the advantages of double-needle-bar multi-guide-bar and jacquard machines, the paper have developed different style of seamlessproduct sucessfully. This paper’s innovate research on seamless fabric’ technology, candirect the seamless product development, increase the product added value, improvemarket competitiveness. Hence, research on this topic has a certain practical significance.
