The Geological Model Building And Applied Research Of Open Pit Coal Mine Based On Minex Software

This paper introduces the Minex6.0software, it is a new result that set up byGEMCOM international mining software company in Australia following the Surpacmine software after many years of model building and mining design experience ofresearch. Minex6.0software is designed for layered ore deposit geology and miningdesign software, it will be able to set up geological model in high speed and highefficienand, enhance the mining efficiency and quality of design greatly.Using Minex6.0software to take Xinjiang Houxia coalfield Heishan open pit mineas an example, it constructs the geological database, borehole data, coal information willbe imported into Minex database successfully so as to realize the drilling data of3Dvisualization. By use of the interface modeling method, establishing the surface model,orebody3D model and orebody quality model, formed in coal mining area of oredeposits in3D model system. Using Minex6.0software pit design functions, it realizesthe boundary of open mining, calculates the ore mining field coasts recoverable reservesand sets up the first stope model, determines the position of each project of coal androck, provides important basis for mining design personnel to make mining schedule andmining technology and equipment choice and improve the mining design personnel’swork efficiency greatly.
