The coal gangue dumping site slope is mainly deposited by coal gangue and stony soil, andits stability condition seriously affect the mine’s production and safety. As a number of this yeartype slopes occurred failure and caused huge loss of lives and property in recent years, it’snecessary that combination of engineering practice and carry out the slopes stability analysis andevaluation work.The paper is according to the zhungeerheidaigou open pit mine’s geological survey’s resultcomplement refuse dumping site fot the study of slope, analysis of the nature of the abandonedmaterials, lithology, refuse dumping site basement project features, technology and groundwaterdischarge effuse in refuse dumping site factors on the stability of slopes. Discusion of open pitmine’s zhungeerheidaigou slope refuse dumping model of potential landslides, also make sure tocalculate the index of slope stability. Two-dimensional rigid limit equilibrium analysis of thedifferent forms of discharge refuse in the stability field, ultimately helping to determine areasonable limit of the abandoned slope angle and the amount, Refuse dumping site illustratesthe stress field of rock slope evolution.Displacement distribution and distribution of plastic zonereveals the refuse dumping the landslide slope. According to calculation and simulation results,both of economical and reasonable proposed landslide control measures.
