With the continuous improvement of manufacturing technology, virtual CNC machining technology more applications to actual production. The virtual simulation machining can effectively detect and eliminate errors in the program, to shorten the processing time, reduce waste generation, to avoid duplication of work, and a substantial increase in work efficiency, improve processing quality, reduce production costs. Meanwhile, numerous vocational colleges, the prevalence of students, CNC machine tools and other training equipment less the status quo, the students take turns to practice and training of the machine, a short time, low efficiency, poor teaching, and easy to machine collision damage to the machine. This paper based on the the CY-VMC850type machining center for Case parts virtual CNC machining systems development, study how to use CAD/CAM software Pro/E and professional CNC simulation software VERICUT virtual machine geometry modeling and simulation processing, effectively alleviate teaching situation of scarcity of resources, and intends to use the system further applied to the project of teaching and training.First, virtual machining environment described, in turn CNC machining simulation technology. Functional configuration, the machine motion parameter settings including CNC simulation machining principle, virtual CNC machine tools, to create virtual machining system platform based on the the CY-VMC850type CNC machine tools.Second, the use of Pro/E software CAD module for Case parts direct modeling to create toolpaths and NC simulation machining CAM module, completed CNC programming work, generate NC programs.Finally, the use of VERICUT to create CNC machine tool system files, rough and fixture system tool system module modeling, CNC machining process simulation processing size, over-cutting and under-cutting and processing quality test and simulation the result has been optimized to achieve a completely virtual machining.Virtual CNC machining of the case show that, based on the CY-VMC850CNC machine tools combined Pro/E and VERICUT success and the development of a virtual CNC machining system to ensure the correctness of the actual NC program and the CNC machining processfeasibility. safety, and to avoid errors due to the NC program or set the workpiece scrapped or interfere with the loss of collision brought the machine can be effectively applied in teaching and training in project-oriented teaching and training, can be widely used invocational colleges.
