| In this paper, a kind of water-based Epoxy resin emulsion with good stability andhigh levels of effective Epoxy resin and its matching waterborne Epoxy curing agentwere synthesized.In the emulsion polymerization, the fine emulsion polymerization method and theinversion method, Vinyl acetate, butyl acrylate, styrene, methyl methacrylate and otherreagents of double bond were used as polymerization monomer, in the effect ofsurfactant and protective colloid, the waterborne Epoxy resin emulsion was synthesized.In order to find out the optimum reaction conditions, the effects of reaction conditionssuch as reaction temperature, the amount of functional monomer, the dosage of initiator,emulsified composition, polymerization time for stability, yield, degree of crosslinkingand water absorption were studied. The mechanical properties of curing werecharacterized. The results showed that when75℃, the4%of acrylic acid, the4%ofacrylamide, the0.8%of initiator, the15%of protective colloid PVA-1788can synthesea kind of emulsion which had storage time4months or more, the80%of effectiveEpoxy resin and excellent curing performance.The Epoxy curing agent was synthesized by the polyamine Epoxy addition. Epoxyresin, diethylene triamine, and mono Epoxy-based reactive diluent were used asmaterial. In order to find out the optimum reaction conditions, the effects of reactionconditions such as reaction temperature, reaction time, types of end-capping agent andthe sequence of adding reagents for Epoxy value, appearance and coating effect werestudied. The structure of curing agent was characterized by FT-IR. The results showedthat when50℃,2h, the sequence of adding reagents is to mix Epoxy resin into reactivediluent and then add end-capping agent660, the48%of Ep can get a kind of waterborneEpoxy curing agent with short time of surface drying and drying, long pot life, rapidcrosslinking and excellent paint film performance. |
