The revitalization of the brand has become to be an important role in Chinese Economic Strategy to rise to be a Powerful country. In recent years, more and more enterprises realize that brand is one of the core competitiveness. Taking a wide view of the development of China’s brand, we have gradually walked out the stage of brand indifference. On the whole, however, there is still a large distance to catch up with the world class brand. Our brands are facing severe challenges, and some problems remain to be solved before national brands make its way to the international market.Brand Image Design is an important part and means of brand strategy of enterprises. It is crucial for an enterprise to have a favorable brand image for its survival and development. Nowadays, it is important for the brand to find its own position when facing the market of product homogeneity, which makes the traditional handcraft a specialty of Chinese national brands. The fusion of traditional folk handcraft and brand not only carries forward the traditional culture, promotes the additional value of products but give the brand an inner spirit of harmony as well.In the graduation project, I carry through the development and design of brand by combining the shape and feature of gourd device, which is a treasure of Chinese culture and art. With the subject of’predestination’and the mainline of the concept of ’container’, I blend the simple and natural emotion into the development and design of the brand. The product includes three parts:the container filled with information, the container filled with light and the container filled with time. With the purpose of following nature and complying with the contemporary cultural atmosphere, I illustrate the true nature of the product with the most ordinary material and endow the brand a brand-new image based on traditional culture and with the criterion of simple and natural beauty.
