The main research is on the the security of cylindrical curtain wall’s focus, preparation, optical and electrical properties of large area AZO glass and textured AZO glass.A convenient model was promoted to calculate cylindrical curtain wall’s focusing temperature Tω and focusing length1, only with certain time, certain building(azimuth y, radius R and reflection Rf), and absorption of certain objects p. This model offered an important reference for researches on the optical safety performance of glass curtain walls, especially concave curtain walls. Applying this model to a building of Hangzhou, it was revealed that the focusing temperature Tω of its attached facility’s roof would reach the highest temperature113℃in June20th12:30or June25th12:30every year, and the focusing length1would range from0.38m to4.54m, which was far shorter than the distance between the building and its attached facility. It was concluded that the cylindrical curtain wall’s focus almost had no effect on high temperature of its attached facility.AZO thin films were grown on glass substrates using the ceramic target(Al2O3:ZnO=2:98). The influence of sputtering current, sputtering time, substrate temperature and sputtering pressure on the electrical, optical properties and morphology of films were studied. Then the optimal parameters were determined by the experiments and analysis, which included the basis pressure of4×10-5Pa, sputtering current of20A, sputtering time of104s, substrate temperature of290℃, and sputtering pressure of0.88Pa. With a size of1300mm×1100mm×3.2mm, the transmission and sheet resistance of the AZO glass were82%and13Ω/□, respectively. The high visible light transmittance and low resistivity of the film was the basis of its applications in devices.The textured AZO thin films were prepared by off-line wet chemical etching. The influence of etching solution species, and its etching time on the properties, structures and surface morphologies of films were studied. The results showed that HF can improve the haze of AZO while NH4Cl can improve the transmission of AZO. The optimal etching time for preparing textured AZO films by1wt%HF was analyzed and determined to be25s. The optimal parameters for preparing textured AZO were decided by experiments and analysis:two-step etching method including25s etching in1wt%HF and4min following etching in5mol%NH4CI. The transmission and haze of the textured AZO was74.8%and11.52%. respectively. It was realized that improve the haze of AZO above10%, maintaining the high transmission of AZO.
