| In the middle of the last century,United States Nations Building and New York Lever Building used glass as a special wall material that led to a glass curtain wall tendency.The CCTV headquarters is covered with glass curtain walls of irregular geometric pattern which makes a huge visual impact.Those walls are not just light and easy to build,and also the reflection combines buildings and views organically.Glass itself is a very modern material,and many architects love its imaginary ability.In the meantime,the light pollution has become indispensable for people’s life routine,especially glare pollution.Researches about light pollution have begun earlier abroad,for example,light night sky,eyes exhaustion,road lighting,etc.On the other hand,light pollution study is not that common in our country.Most of the papers about glare are focusing on the harm,cause and treatment but not some quantitative analysis nowadays.And the main monitoring method is all about observation measurement at certain time and certain location.Obviously,it can’t be quite accurate because of numerous uncontrollable factors.This research is proceeded in the laboratory in order to keep the background environment still.In this way we can decrease interference factor and provide a new measurement for glare study field.This research focus on reflect glare from glass curtain walls.The glare pollution history and study has been summarized both abroad and here.I use long arc xenon lamp to simulate sun light and I use Low-E glass flat to reflect it.The reflectivity,lamp location,shifting angle can all be changed and lead to different data measured by luminance meter.Those amounts of data can be organized to show rules and correlations by a Stata software.According to the final regularity,some feasible suggestions have been proposed.Main research contents are as follows:(1)Light pollution research processes both abroad and here like harm,classification,monitoring method have been summarized.Various glare pollution assessments have been organized.(2)Glass curtain wall sample version have been chosen.The physical paraments in laboratory according to suitable assessment have been adjusted.Preliminary experiment is used to confirm a detail distance from a flat center.(3)Formal experiment has been designed to build a combination model.I use luminance and electronic angle gauge to measure multiple data.(4)Different reflectivity,season,shifting angle and viewing angle are all changeable conditions for studying a GR contribution.Conclusions are as follows:(1)Low-E glass reflectivity and GR present a positive correlation mutually.Shifting angles and GR present a negative correlation mutually.The light intensity will grow as the reflectivity grows.The GR number will increase as well,then goes the grievous impact under the circumstance that all shifting angles are invariant.(2)Seasons,GR numbers and impacts have fixed rules.They become the highest one in the summer time under the circumstance that reflectivity and shifting angles are invariant.(3)Viewing angles and light intensities present a positive correlation mutually.According to Pearson correlation coefficient,it shows 1% significance level when shifting angles are 5° and 10°. |
