With the development of society, a variety of electronic products and related equipment development towards miniaturization; At the same time, studies have shown that the flat mirco-wires have many advantages compared with circular cross-section wires, such as, larger current carrying capacity, faster heat dissipation and small dimension at height direction. Flat mirco-wires have been widely used widly for its "fine" and "flat" characteristics. The winding is a very important aspect in the production of fine flat line. To ensure that the flat mirco-wire evenly arranged on the bobbin, a high precision device to arrangement of flat mirco-wire and the constant tension control system are necessary. Existing winding device and tension device at home and abroad can not be applied in the flat micro-wire winding mentioned in this article. Now, a specialized system for fine flat wire winding was developed independently.This paper focus on discuss the development of winding device for flat micro-wire. The structures design of the winding device and the constant tension device which are suitable to flat micro-wire were discussed in detail. Through the comparison of different kinds of wiring device, the linkage structure was selected to reducing the deformation of flat micro-wire. Based on coarse and fine adjustment joint together and calculate the force of the flat mieco-wire in the winding process, the constant tension control system was designed. Mitsubishi FX2N-32MT PLC as core control, it can output two pulse to control the speed of the step motor, the speed and steering of the winding motor, the speed and steering of the wire-lining motor simultaneously.The speeds of flat micro-wire when it in and out the tension system wre collectrd by different rotary encoder. The signals transmit into the PLC directly, and used to fine adjustment. In large speed regulation or strong external disturbance, tension control device control the system back to the equilibrium position through the coarse adjustment. By MCL-T2tension sensor on-line detection the waveform of the tension, the analog signal was sent into A/D module (mitsubishi FX0N-3A). And combine MT506MV and PLC to realize the man-machine interactive. Experiment test suggest that the equipment design is reasonable and the control system is stable. The rolling speed can be set at0-8m/min and it can be changed online. It could continuous produce and wind flat micro-wire with line thickness0.02~0.1mm and line width0.1~0.15mm.At last, carry out a series process experimental. Analyzed how the parameters influence the winding quality and stability of the system, during the production process. Draw reasonable parameter settings under different rolling speed. Provides guidance for practical production, and laid a foundation for further research.
