| Along with the development of industrialization and urbanization, the relationship between environment and humans are becoming close, and environmental impact from human being has been increasingly severe. Energy crisis and the pollution of air, soil and water will threaten our existence. So, our society faces the challenge in our efforts to protect the environment while simultaneously forging ahead with rapid social and economic development of our country. In this situation, some countries has issued environmental laws, and put forward the green design concept. But the green degree evaluation of green production is not clear, so life cycle assessment (LCA) is proposed to solve the environmental impact during the product life cycle.On the introduction of green design and concept of life cycle assessment, through its application in different areas and comparison of different cases at home and abroad. This article puts forward a simplified life cycle assessment method, and combined with examples. Based on the actual demand of enterprise and individuals and combined with this simplified ways confirm the parts which need to think a lot, then cut out the life cycle phase for interception to make key analysis.This simplified method will offer effective way for evaluating the product of small businesses under the lack of data. Firstly, we collect some environmental dates about product resource consumption, energy consumption and pollutant emission and so on. Then, these factors will be classified under the level of concern of businesses or individuals. In this paper, we use characterization method to combine the equivalent models and get the new environmental impact contribution. At last, we could evaluate the total impact depend on every impact of various environmental factors. Denmark scholars use annual social consumption of resources and environmental impact total value as standardize benchmark respectively, and standardize characterization results. All these standardize potential environmental impacts are determinated their weight using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Adding weighting potentials to get a single environmental indie, we could compare environmental impacts of various products. According to the type of air conditioning in the household of GuangDong province, given two types of commonly used air conditioning units as the research object, to analysis the material and production process of the air conditioner then get the environmental impact categories list. Belongs to the typical characteristics of the southern region of GuangDong province, to research and analysis then get the duration and frequency of air conditioning in summer during this region’s residents in common condition, and collect the data of usage phase of air conditioner environmental impact, the get the inventory data. According to the simplified method proposed in this article to give a life cycle assessment of production process and usage phase of air conditioner in GuangDong province, and puts forward several recommendations for improvement. |
