Reservoir engineering data is the most important factual basis of oilfields developmentand management,science and technology innovation and scientific decision-making.Afterdecades of exploration and development of complete dynamic and static data informationacquisition,so far,oilfields have accumulated a wealth of huge amounts of data resources,including geophysical prospecting,well logging,reservoir engineering, productionengineering, ground engineering and other thirty fields, more than six thousand indexvariables.Along with the main oilfields have entered the later periods of the developmentand production, the underground reservoir lithology, physical property, oiliness havechanged a lot, such as the distribution of oil, gas, water and pressure is complex,it’s difficultto make a development plan and perform the delicacy management.So, it’s important tomake use of the existing data resources fully and accurately and perform the study oiloriented to realize the fast extraction and effective organization of the multidisciplinary,multi-profession information, and this can benefit the oilfields description.This topic putsforward the establishment method of reservoir engineering data service system based onUML to design and develop the prototype system which is based on the practical needs ofcurrent oil field reservoir fine research and development.First of all, the theory elaborates the basis and the key technology,including unifiedmodeling language UML, full-text search technology, MVC architecture technologyinvolved in the system.This task takes the actual demand of oilfields study,character ofexisting data system and application area into consideration to organize and analysis the oildata management model and the storage structure, and then uses UML for system modeling.According to reservior engineering study and actual working flow and information flow, thepaper began with data, role and function to finish system analysis, and built the system usecase model. The paper adopted MVC structure mode and the thought of data directoryservice for system structure designing, and used static structure class diagram, dynamicstructure sequence diagram and activity diagram to model the system in detail, at last, thepaper finished the designing of system database and coding standards. In the systemimplementation and testing part, the paper introduced the implementation methods andapplication effects in detail.The reservoir engineering data service system combined B/S (browser/server) modewith C/S (client/server) mode for system developing.The system uses Oracle database as the backend database,Visual Studio2005as the development tool and C#language to developand design.To achieve the data directory navigation, data search, search engines, datasubscription and sharing, data migration and quality control.The development of this systemsolved the production data of reservoir engineering data storage distribution level, thesearch difficulties, the problem of unclear logic structure, and low level of informationsharing and association,and improving all kinds of data extraction, application and sharinglevel of reservoir engineering.
