For the problem of papermaking effluent pollution and the low recycling utilization rate,through the system of experimental study, coming to a conclusion that acid-precipitationmethod is the best methord of the extraction of lignin. And make a discussion of the ligninmodification.Lignin is extracted from Reed black liquor of papermaking through the method of theorganic solvent and inorganic solvent in this article. Firstly, through the acid-precipitationmethod, collecting lignin from the black liquor of Reed pulping. Then using the ethanol toseparate the pure lignin out, and through the infrared spectrum, ultraviolet spectrum,1HNMRspectrum, etc method to pure lignin structure characterization. We can know the mainconstituent of the lignin from the black liquor of Reed pulping is and syringyl alcohol. Andthe syringyl alcohol is more than the guaiacyl alcohol. Through the analysis of the molecularstructure of lignin, according to the functional group we make a modification of lignin.Through the modification reaction of alkylation-oxidation-sulfonated of lignin,in theprocess of alkylation, through the analysis of phenol hydroxy alkylating degree,we can cometo a conclusion that the optimum reaction temperature is170℃、the optimum reaction time is3h、under the reaction conditions pH=12and solvent volume ratio of isopropyl alcohol-water solution is1:2,at this time the phenolic hydroxyl etherification rate is the highest. Inthe process of oxidizing reaction, By comparing the nitric acid oxidation with potassiumpermanganate-sodium periodate oxidation,we come a conclusion that nitric acid oxidation isa better method in our ezperiment, the oxidation products of the method have a high yield andgood surface activity. In the process of sulfonation reaction, through the judgment of surfaceactivity of the product,we can come a conclusion that the optimum conditions is: mass ratioof formaldehyde and alkylation-oxidation lignin is2.2:5,the mass ratio of sulfonating agentand alkylation-oxidation lignin is1:1, the reaction pH is ten, reaction temperature is90℃Thefoaming performance of the final surfactant is generally, but the surface tension is the lowest,the experimental results show that the surfactant is suitable for the environment of hightemperature steam drive,it can be used to reduce the surface tension of the high temperaturereservoir.Through the modification reaction of oxidation-sulfonated of lignin, contrastive analysisthe oxidizing agent of the experiment is KMnO4, at the same time through the orthogonalexperimental design,make sure that the best result and the best reaction conditions of theoxidation reaction required. The best reaction conditions is pH=8,mKMnO4=0.4g/5glignin,the reaction temperature is60℃,reaction time is7h. In the high temperature aging test, theresult suggests that the foaming agent is suitable for the environment of high temperature steam. The surface tension of the modification reaction of oxidation–sulfonated of lignin iscommon, but foaming characteristic is better, So it can be used as a foaming agent used in theoil extraction.
