Remote real-time displacement monitoring for machine tools has an important theoretical significance and practical value both in improving the efficiency of machine tools fully and in realizing integration management in workshop.High degree of accuracy is development objective for numerical control machine tool, location accuracy is a important factor in affecting processing accuracy. High speed cutting has become a tendency in the field of manufacture because of its prominent merit, for example, higher efficiency, working stability and surface texture, lower cutting resistance and cutting temperature. However, the phenomenon of knife point departure objective often happen because of higher cutting feed speed, which makes location accuracy reducing.Based on analysis of function, remote displacement monitoring system is developed for numerical control machine tools adopting virtual instrument technique in this paper. This system can acquire and show and save and transmit displacement data real time while it can guarantee primary numerical control systems run naturally, which provides foundation for developing of multi-channel and multi-physical parameter monitoring system of numerical control machine tools processing to research numerical control machine tools processing technology based on network and realizing integration and informationization management. Based on foregone research, the thesis has developed remote displacement monitoring for numerical control machine tools based on virtual instrument. The research content mainly includes:Analyzing synthetically all kinds of program building monitoring system based on virtual instrument, this paper adopt PXI bus in order to build remote displacement monitoring for numerical control machine tools based on virtual instrument and research thoroughly PXI bus technique.System hardware structure is designed based on PXI bus technique and raster digimatic indicator based on analyzing synthetically all kinds of displacement test methods and system function index by devising type selection principle of PXI instrument device .Remote displacement monitoring system software is designed for numerical control machine tools using LabVIEW language by researching synthetically all kinds of software program of building monitoring system based on virtual instrument and specific achieve process of system modules is presented carefully.Monitor system developped is tested on machine tools in order to analyse system precision and prove system function.
