Power factor correction technology has been widely applied in switch mode powersupply to reduce the harmonic pollution to the grid. However the added energy conversiondecreases the efficiency of it. Small size and high power density is the development trendand requirements of the switching power supply. This article is intended in a high powerdensity, high efficiency PFC power supply.With the increase of the power rating, the traditional Boost PFC circuit is restrictedgradually. By using the interleaved technonly, voltage and current stress of switches canbe decreased, the ripple of the input current and switching losses can also be reduced,therefore, power density of the PFC converter can be improved. In order to improve theefficiency, several typical topologies for interleaved Boost PFC are analyzed in this paper.An ZVT-PWM interleaved boost converter is used as the main circuit topology, which isnot only provides zero-voltage-transition for the main switches but also provides softswitching for the auxiliary switch and diodes without any additional voltage and currentstress.In this paper, the control scheme uses one cycle control method and through phaseshift to achieve interleaving control. After designing the parameters in details, the overallsimulation platform has been established by using Pspice software, and experiment isoperated by building a 300W prototype based on the control chip IR1150S. The simulatedand experimental results has verified the correctness of the system.However, the comonents and their prasitical paramrter are impossible to be totally thesame, so the current sharing is also a difficult problem of the interleaved converters. Inthis paper, one cycle flow control technology is proposed, which makes use of theintegral nature and fast dynamic response characteristics of the one cycle control toensure that the current average allocation of each unit. Finally, a one cycle flow controlblock diagram of the digital implementation is built, the feasibility of the theory isverified by simulation.
