With the services restoration of distribution network matures, users expected highlyto the service restoration, the multi-objective research becomes a trend. This paper doesthe researches in distribution system restoration by using the Heuristic Multi-Agentevolutionary algorithm. The main contents include:First of all, for the structural characteristics of distribution network, it used thegraph theory to simplify the mathematical model of network structure, compared the twotopological analysis of the distribution network; Analyzed the computer storage of thedistribution network structure; Combined the Bread First Search method and theback/forward sweep algorithm to improve the algorithm speed. Then, considering the peculiarity of service restoration and the objective ofMulti-fault service restoration in the distribution network, introduce the Nichetechnology to improve the Multi-agent evolutionary algorithm and combined withheuristic algorithm, proposed a heuristic Multi-agent evolutionary algorithm to theservice restoration. There will be two situations for Multiple Fault Cases, the priority ofthe load recovery are given by the sensitive degree of lost load, proposed two models anddifferent service restoration strategy to distribution network. The simulation verified thecorrectness and effectiveness of the proposed method. Finally, considering the hierarchical island operation and relevant provisions ofrenewable energy, combined with the heuristic Multi-agent evolutionary algorithm, proposed the strategy to solve the service restoration in the distribution system withdistributed generators. A new mathematical model and an improved hierarchical islandoperation were proposed to make full use of the renewable distributed generators in theservice restoration. The results of a case show feasibility and correctness of the modeland the algorithm.
