Diving aircraft was a concept that proposed early in World War II, Soviet Union and the United States had a preliminary study of this technology early, but it interrupted in the end, because the technology is too far ahead of that period. In recent years, it began to become a research hotspot in the United States and other countries with the technology of materials, power, controlling development and application of demand. The development of modern diving aircraft need to address the following questions:The first is the contradiction between the weight requirements of diving and flying. The second key issue is the design of the fuselage,the aircraft must has a fuselage that can work-well in the two media of water and air. The third key issue is the contradictions that the aircraft requirement different structural strength for working in water and air. The fourth key issue is the problem of that the wing how to work-well in the two media. This article focused on several key technologies to expand the diving aircraft demonstration program, it focus on two core technologies of body variant and multi-mode’s aerodynamic performance and underwater navigate. This paper proposed and demonstrated several unmanned aerial vehicle’s overall program, including the layout of the program from low to high speed, it selected a low-speed layout program by analyzing. This paper presented a backward retractable hollow wing organizations in the wing deformation. On study body shape it use submarine shape design method and plane design method to determine a less resistance body shape through a variety of different forms of body aerodynamic calculations and hydrodynamic calculations. It has done numerical calculation and analysis of the aircraft aerodynamic performance of the diving and underwater navigation, the hydrodynamic performance as well as the take-off from water state, and in the course of the study were related to the principle of verification tests, through test analysis, fond a preliminary demonstration of feasibility of the research and development of the diving aircraft, but also found the structural strength problem of wing deformation institutions to hinge, and deformation of the drive torque required is too large. In this paper of the outlook has presented high-speed flight programs that it more easy for wing variant, also presented some recommendations about further research of water take-off problem in high-speed flight.
