Suspension is an important part of the vehicle. The suspension structure andparameters is reasonable or not, which has a great influence on the vehicle, handlingstability and ride comfort. The main content of this paper is a mainstream type ofautomotive suspension simulation analysis and its handling stability performance.Currently the main automobile suspension development method is combining withcomputer multi body dynamics simulation and testing. Building the SuspensionKinetics Simulation Model in multi body dynamics simulation software and testingthe simulation analysis is correct or not can effectively shorten the development cycleof suspension and enhance the development ability of suspension system.Currently on the market the mainstream B and B+car suspension form most ofthe Mcpherson front suspension and multi-link rear suspension. This paper selects arepresentative selling vehicle on the market as the research object. Obtain a set ofmatched Mcpherson front suspension and multi-link rear suspension simulation modeland the suspension characteristic parameters through the ADMAS simulate, K&Cbench test and road handling stability test.Firstly, according to the actual project requirements, select research object anddesign the process of project. Secondly, collect the suspension parameters of researchobject. In third, bulild simulation analysis model in ADMAS according to thecollected parameters. DO suspension K&C characteristic simulation and stabilityanalysis. Fourth, complete the K&C bench test and compare with the simulation result.Fifth, complete the road handling stability test and compare with the simulation result.In sixth, evaluate the suspension performance and the reliability of simulation model.The Mcpherson front suspension, multi-link suspension simulation analysismethod and the ADMAS simulation model based on this method can be used as thesame type of car chassis development basic tools. Through the task our company hasaccumulated valuable experience in car suspension development and systemintegration. In the project implementation process, preliminary built suspensionsimulation analysis method and the standard. We obtain a set of basic simulation dataand experimental data. These data and standard lay a solid foundation of developingthe same type suspension design, simulation and analysis in the future.
