| Computer aided design has been widely used by engineering design field formany years. So far,different kinds of design software become important design tools.Good design software can not only reduce workload of designers and improve thedesign quality, but also can benefit the execution and management of project. Nowmost domestic engineering designs are by two-dimensional, the shortcoming ofplanar design is that it is impossible to paint all the geometrical figures clearly. Pipingand wind piping which used by every specialty are denoted by lines, and materialsthey use are labeled with characters on the drawing. It brings a lot of problems: thestandards of material choice can not be consistent, it raises project cost; It increasesthe possibility of design mistakes; It may also bring confusion to the evening workerssuch as buyer.For the huge benefits which brought by three-dimensional design system,whether at abroad or at home, the drawing way is tend to develop fromtwo-dimensional to three-dimensional. However, three-dimensional design systemexisting now has not been linked with the material cost; the designer can not predictthe cost of the project implementation completely when they design.To solve the problem above, based on three-dimensional design system-SmartPlant3D, the author of this thesis developed a suit of measures which proved to beeffective. The measures are: set up material standardization database, materialreference cost database and material fix budget ration database, then link the threedatabases with Smart Plant3D, then set up Auto-cost Evaluation System based ondesign model through software developing. Test on the Auto-cost Evaluation Systemindicated that the system really works. Only need very simple operations, it cansuccessfully count material reference cost, material fix budget ration and the totalmaterial cost based on design model. The content of this paper is expounding thedeveloping idea and actualization course of the three databases and auto-costevaluation system. The research result is proved that it is feasible to realize the piping materialstandardization and the auto-cost evaluate function. This suit of measures integratestrong function of Smart Plant3D, remarkably decrease workload of designers whenthey design and make material statistics, and decrease the possibilities of mistakesappearing.,.bring convenience to buyers. It also offers conveniences to the designerto compare several design schemes and control the project cost. For the futuredirection of3-D design software’s secondary developing, and on how to makesoftware developing serve the engineering design practice better, the result has vitalmeaning. |
