Many countries widespread have paid attention to early childhood education for a long time. With the constant development of educational patterns and concepts, the adaptability design of the kindergarten architecture which is the material carrier of the educational mode and concept becomes the focus of the architecture field.The paper takes use of literature research, comprehensive, comparison and induction, field research and case analysis and other research methods synthetically to carry out systematic research on the new childhood educational patterns and the kindergarten architecture design based on comprehensive study of early childhood education, early childhood behavioral psychology, architecture and other related disciplines. First of all, research background, dynamic and purpose of the patterns of early childhood education and kindergarten architecture are summarized. Then the development history of the childhood education patterns and kindergarten architecture are introduced. The design strategy of kindergarten architectures which acclimatize itself to the new childhood educational patterns are illustrated and concluded particularly. These new childhood educational patterns are divided into six types which include: the mix of children with different age stages educational pattern, parent-child educational pattern, the educational pattern of discriminating gender differences, the autonomous educational pattern, the natural educational pattern and the national educational pattern. At the same time, a large number of kindergarten architecture cases corresponding the patterns which have been listed above are empirical analyzed. Then the paper analyzes problems of the kindergarten architectures in our country, and puts forward the corresponding improvement strategy. Finally, we look forward to the future of the childhood education patterns and kindergarten architecture.The paper attempts to consummate the theory framework and widening the content of the kindergarten architecture through the discussion of the kindergarten architecture influenced by the new educational patterns. At the same time, the new perspective and strategic reference have been advanced for design and amelioration of the kindergarten architecture to optimize the space and environment of the kindergarten architecture in our country.
