| The historic district must be protected effective. The historic district is also a part of the active city, it needs not only to be protected, but also to be updated and develop. As a national historic city, Tianjin has accumulated many precious historical and cultural heritages during the 600 years.In order to protect the Tianjin historic district better, this paper try to establish a historic district planning system and methods for Tianjin which is based on the analysis of our country’s present historic district protection planning system and the successful experience of other cities’historic district protection planning. The article includes five chapters:Chapter one introduces the study background, content, basic theory, method, structure, and practical meaning of this article.Chapter two includes the analysis of relevant theory and successful experience in historic district protection planning.Chapter three reviews historic district protection planning system formation and development in China. It elaborates our country’s historic district protection planning system from level, contents, methods and procedures. It advocates to reconstituting the planning system of historic district, combined with the concerns and new requirements of the historic district protection planning in the new situation.Chapter four reviews the development of historic district protection planning in Tianjin, elaborates the characteristics of protection planning, in contrast to the research is proposed, propose the new system of historic district protection planning in Tianjin, which is based on the comparison research. It also includes the research on the planning methods.Chapter five take Five Major Road Historic District of Tianjin as an example, analyses its protection planning, and proposes some suggestion of the protection planning. |
