As a large number of applications of non-linear loads such as switching power supply,rectifier, inverter, it makes a large number of harmonics mixed signal in the power system,which causes tremendous impact on many power quality indicators and makes power gridusers can’t use the power normally. Therefore, real-time monitoring of network parameters,storing and analyzing the monitored information data, and the reliable and effective solutionsfor the power grid issues to further refine and improve the power quality are necessary.Firstly, in this paper the research is based on DSP and GPRS of electric power qualitymonitoring system, the TI company high-speed DSP chip on TMS320F2812is used for dataprocessing, analysis and storage; a high-speed GPRS communication module G24producedby the MOTOROLA company is used for remote wireless communication, and RS232serialcommunication is used to achieve data transfer between upper monitor.Secondly, TMS320F2812digital signal processing chip is taken as the core in this paper,the mutual inductor is used to collect the grid signal, then the resistance to aliasing filtercircuit composed of four order infinite gain low pass filter circuit is used to filter the collectedsignals, after filtering, the signals are sent to conversion chip AD7656for moduletransformation; also by using phase lock times frequency characteristics of the circuit, asynchronous sampling signal is sent to A/D conversion chip, and makes the measured signalsampling signal and synchronization effect. Through the AD7656the output signal, and theoutput signal can be received and digital signal processor (DSP) analyzed with. Signals intothe DSP, then the data signals are analyzed and processed through FFT fast Fourier algorithm,all kinds of index parameters are obtained, stored and distributed, which mainly carry out thedata transmission between upper monitor based on RS232serial communication mode, whenit must carry on the wireless long distance transmission, it uses GPRS communication mode.In this paper, the harmonic wave in the power grid is modeled based on BP neural networksimulation modeling and accessed the relevant data.Finally, the power quality monitoring system and the hardware circuit design iscompleted and some circuit is simulated based on Pspice, the software program flow chart isdesigned, the comprehensive analysis and research of the system has been carried out to makeit has certain advantages.
