With the change of modern grid structure and the widely use of a variety ofnon-linear loads, power quality problems have become increasingly prominent. Inorder to ensure safe and efficient use of power, the monitoring and analysis ofrelevant power quality indicators has important practical significance. The powermonitoring system completed in this thesis has realized remote data collection,analysis of indicators, data storage and other functions. It provides a wealth ofcomplete measurement data basis for power sector in scientific management andsmart grid construction.Firstly, this thesis analyzes the research status of power quality monitoringsystem at home and abroad, describes the main power quality indicators and detectionmethods of it, and it also focuses on analyzing the FFT algorithm which used in thisthesis. Secondly, it designs a solution of the power quality monitoring systemaccording to the demands of the power sector. In order to overcome the someshortcomings, including the small amount of communication data and high cost inGSM-based data transmission scheme, and consider the needs of specific applicationsof remote areas (Such as mines, mountains and other areas without3G coverage), thisthesis presents an efficient data transmission scheme based on GPRS wirelessnetwork. Simultaneously, model the scheme using the Petri Net and verify thefeasibility and effectiveness. Finally, it introduces the design and implementation ofthe monitoring system, which consists of the terminal monitors and power qualitymanagement systems.The terminal monitor adopts dual-CPU system structure. By porting μC/OS-II,the control module, with MC9S12XS128as its core, achieves functional tasksmanagement, which to achieve data files stored locally, remotely transmission and afriendly user interface. The data acquisition and processing module, which core isTMS320F28335, realizes the high-precision collection data, analysis of indicators andthe communication with the control module.The power quality management system realizes on management of all terminal monitors, remote data request&acceptance and report production. System which isbased on.NET platform and SQL Server2008database can multi-communicate withlarge amount of monitors at the same time with the advantages of WinSocket andmulti-thread programming.The communication scheme proposed in this thesis can widely used in theconstruction of other related wireless data transfer system. Meanwhile, the researchfindings of this thesis make a theoretical and practical contribution to thedevelopment of power quality monitoring field.
