The Design of aircraft assembly process provides process technology preparation for aircraftassembly, and assembly quality depends largely on whether the assembly process is designedreasonably or not. Currently, the process design is mostly implemented with the process designers’experience in digital environment, so the links related with aircraft assembly cannot be organized as awhole organically. According to the aeronautical manufacturing enterprise present, the technology ofdigital assembly process modeling is studied deeply for aircraft parts, which achieves the digitalquality transfer and makes the information generated in aircraft designing and manufacturing unifiedand shared. The main research in this thesis is outlined as follow:1) Digital assembly process model is modeling for aircraft parts. According to the actualrequirements, the organization structure of the model is nailed down, further the composition ofsub-information model and the expression of the process information are confirmed.2) A new method for assembly sequence planning is presented based on weighted directedgraph. This method uses the complementary with the advantages of weighted directed graph anddesign structure matrix, and establishes an assembly dependency model by considering the variousaffecting factors of assembly process. Finally, assembly unit is partitioned and assembly sequence isplanned by using the fuzzy clustering algorithm and tearing algorithm.3) A method for the assembly process information modeling is studied. Firstly, this methoddescribes the data composition of the process information and summarizes interactive recognitionrules of the geometry feature. Secondly, assembly process information modeling procedures areproposed on this basis. Finally, the technology based on assembly feature is introduced for the processinformation modeling.4) A modeling software package of the digital assembly process model for aircraft parts isdeveloped based on the above research work. The application has proved the package can meet theneeds of enterprise digital assembly process design.
