With the rapid development of air transportation, the competition on airport surface is becomingmore frequently, which brings more and more pressure in the security and efficient of airportoperation, it is an urgent need to develop the advanced surface movement guidance and controlsystem (A-SMGCS). This paper mainly focuses on the airport surface conflict problem of A-SMGCS,using airfield lighting to implement the liberation of guidance and the research of control.First of all, this paper analyzed the function demand and the overall structure of the control andsimulation system of aircraft taxiing conflict, and analyzed its composition modules and the two kindsof problems of conflict which need to solve; Second, the discrete event supervisory control theorywhich based on Petri net was used for head-on conflict-free operation of taxiway, the taxiwaycontrolled Petri net operation model was constructed, and a set of constraint equations for the aircraftwere proposed according to taxiway operation rules, and at the same time the inhibitor arc conceptionwas adopted to design out the controller of logic mutex constraint, on the basis, the control commanddecision-making method and corresponding algorithm were provided based on the enable state oftransition.Then, this paper researched on the conflict questions of vortex separation、incursions ontolimits and deviation using hybrid system theory, a hybrid control system structure for taxiingconfliction supervisory was proposed, and a set of kinematic equations for the aircraft were proposed,at the same time, for each type of the possible conflict to model and constructed the monitorsaccording to the airport surface operation rules, and designed the corresponding controller instructionsaccording to the different kinds of conflict which were observed,on the basis,designed the commandgenerator of the airfield lighting. Finally, according to the methods of conflict resolution and airfieldlighting system control instruction decision-making arithmetic, the author designed the airfieldlighting simulation system based on PLC and VC, and the results of the airfield lighting test show thatthe methods of conflict resolution is feasible in the paper.
