| The dump semi-trailer have became one main form of highway transportation onaccount of its large-capacity, high-efficiency and low cost. In our county, the weight ofdump semi-trailers is so great as to impact its payload and fuel economy. Quarter framesemi-trailer is a new form of the semi-trailer. It meets the requirement of vehicleperformance and is lighter than domestic semi-trailer. Study on the quarter framesemi-trailer has broad prospects and realistic significance.In the study on quarter frame semi-trailer, parameters of semi-trailer were definedand the components were designed. Three-dimensional models of semi-trailercomponents were established. Based on this, the structure of semi-trailer and collocationbetween parts were easy to comprehend. Based on virtual working condition ofsemi-trailer, operating modes, displacements and structural loads of semi-trailer weredefined. The parts stiffness and strength of components were analyzed. According to theload characteristics of quarter frame semi-trailer, some design suggestions ofsemi-trailer were given out. Based on the principles of roll-over, the whole dynamicsimulation model of quarter frame semi-trailer was established. Through the workingstability analysis, some critical results and regulations were found.Quarter frame semi-trailer is a new form of the semi-trailer, and it can increase formof domestic semi-trailer. Study and analysis on it not only give one research method, butalso fill gap of study on domestic semi-trailer. |
